At an early age during the 1970’s I was exposed to popular music. My parents, especially my mom, always had music playing in the house. We would watch the likes of Elvis and Glen Campbell on TV. My Uncle John would return from the record store with Elton John’s latest album, and we would listen to it in its entirety. As we got older, my sister would blast Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers from her bedroom, and my brother would be playing Aerosmith and playing along with his drums. Our house was always rocking. As a child, I took guitar lessons for a short period of time and just loved popular music, everything from the Eagles to AC DC.

As 2026 began, I found myself in a phase of self-reflection. I had successfully carved out a life that provided independence, peace and stability. I continued to run my business but also directed more effort into my song writing. I took some time to reflect on the past and began to gain a deeper understanding of life, relationships, connection, behavior, my past and what I wanted for my future.

Recording the album was a tremendous amount of work but was also a lot of fun. I would like to thank all those involved in the album starting with George Koch-owner operator of SoundPlex. Randy Weaver-sound engineer, Ray Roller-lead guitarist, Mike Coluzzi, my brother and drummer, Ken Kintner-bass player, Dominic Taurino-bass player, Bob Bugsch-drummer, Danny Rich-Keyboard player and my niece Scarlett Sweezy-vocalist.

Life is a journey, knowing when to go with the flow and when to be proactive ultimately creates your destiny.
