RANDOM PARADE
From the underbelly of the suburbs in Southern California, Random Parade emerges and wanders about channeling a hybrid cocktail of multi-era post punk and post modern indie rock with songs steeped in painful emotions of loneliness and despair. Taking as much from pop as they do from vintage punk rock, with elements reminiscent of early 80s post-punk bands like the Cure and Joy Division and Psychedelic Furs woven into the fabric of the music.
What began as a lo-fi bedroom project continues to find success online with multiple EPs and a full length LP which garnered airplay on local college radio. They play live shows in Southern California and have supported 80s icons Missing Persons, Berlin, and The Fixx.
The latest self-produced album, "Never Meant To Last" is the culmination of a project that was in the works before the pandemic hit. The album was completed while navigating an ongoing new pandemic world, resulting in a collection of songs of self reflection in a world slowly crawling back into the light.
