He was a member of Frankie Lymon’s Teenagers with Pearl McKinnon, attained a Billboard Top 100 Hit, “Be Here In The Morning” as a member of the group the Second Verse, his own band, A Special Affair, won amateur night at the renowned Apollo Theater, and was later signed to a six figure record deal by music producers Sandy Linzer and Irwin Levine for Mirage Records. Through his own original songwriting, Teddy became a charted international recording artist. In 2018 and 2019, he had back to back hits in the UK, Europe and Canada. His sexy, soulful ballad, “I’m So In Love,” was followed by a Philly Soul style tune “I Can’t Help Myself” that Teddy sang and co-wrote with UK music producer Nigel Lowis. It was part of a compilation project for DSG Records of top soul artists, including Will Downing, Patti Austin and Freda Payne. It was #1 on the UK Soul Chart for two weeks.

And in a twist of fate, Teddy has just signed with label Deko Entertainment, distributed globally through ADA/Warner Music Group in a Legacy Artist agreement that will see the release of a new original EP. Teddy B. is a true “Maker Of Music” and he’s not done yet!
