Featuring, along with songwriter Gaspár on Piano and Hammond Organ, are the incredible vocals of Tommy Bowes, who for seven years sang with Tower of Power, The Uptown Horns who’ve played with The Rolling Stones on their Steel Wheels tour, Scott Spray, Grammy Recording Bassist from the Johnny and Edgar Winter groups, Lee Finkelstein from The Original Blues Brothers Band on drums, Andy Abel from Blood Sweat & Tears and The Talking Heads on guitar, and percussionist Eddie Torres from The Vickie Sue Robinson Band, “THE RIVER” is one of those rare, timeless songs that immediately sound like a “Classic” Also featured are background vocals by veterans Dennis Collins and Sharon Bryant, along with Strings and Mandolin by the incomparable Stevie Blacke.
This very beautiful Gospel flavored “Prayer – Song of Hope” is the songwriting cornerstone of their new album on Deko Entertainment “FIELD OF GRACE”.
